Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the services being offered

1. What is your training style?

My ethos is simple: fun, friendly, kind, effective, science-based training. I always explain the what, the how and the why behind every suggestion.

2. Why don't you have prices on your website?

Every dog, every situation, every owner is different. To be able to give you a price, I need to understand the severity of the issue we are dealing with and the amount of support, materials etc. you will need. I have flexible solutions and support packages.

    3. Where will the trainings take place?

Training is available online or in person, either at your home or in a suitable outdoor environment. All depends on your dog's individual needs.

    4. What's included in the behaviour modification programs?

Each program, as a minimum, includes:

    • Your dog's emotionality assessment and baseline

    • Your dog's mood assessment a

    • Written, detailed report on the modification programme:: the what, the how and the why all explained

    • Unlimited support via WhatsApp, Mon-Sun

    • Weekly check-ins on progress: advise on coming week's activities, anything we need to introduce/reduce/change in the programme: written, verbal, face to face or messages, all up to you, whatever you prefer

    • Month check-in on progress and re-assessment of the emotionality and mood state of your dog

    5. Do you offer face-t0-face training sessions or consultations?

    Yes, in Madrid, Spain.

    6. How long does the behaviour modification program take?

The duration of any behaviour modification varies depending on several factors:

    • The specific behaviour issues being addressed.
    • Your dog's age, current mood and emotional state.
    • The consistency of your practice of the recommendations.
    • The severity of the problems.
    • Your commitment to the training process.

Most clients see initial improvements within a few weeks, but lasting behaviour change typically requires several months of consistent work, with a life-time need for consistency so as not to revert to previous ways.

    7. Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes, ongoing support is provided as it is a very important part of the process. I provide guidance between sessions and am available to help you work through any challenges that arise during training via video or voice messages or face to face if you are in Madrid, Spain.

    8. What if my dog doesn't respond to training or the behaviour modification program?

Every dog is unique and responds differently. If initial approaches aren't working as we would have liked, I'll adjust the plan and try different techniques suited to your dog's specific needs and learning style.

    9. Can you really train a dog online?

100%. Most of the real progress happens with you and your dog, not just during our sessions.

Online coaching gives you clarity, technique, and step-by-step support, while empowering you to deliver the training your dog needs day-to-day.

All packages include Mon-Sun WhatsApp support and video feedback, so you are never left guessing.

    10. What do you do with my data after we finish working together?

Every conversation, report is 100% confidential and as per the Privacy Policy set out on this website.

    11. Do you work with all breeds/ages of dogs/puppies?

Yes. :-) All types, ages and breeds of dogs are welcome.

    12. How do I know if my dog needs a behaviourist vs. a trainer?

In general, "training" is needed if you need help with obedience, agility, listening to commands, e.g. sit, stay, loose leash walking, call-back etc.

Behaviour consultation is needed when unwanted behaviours (reactivity, phobias, aggression, excessive barking etc.) are observed and help is needed to modify these

    13. Do you offer refunds?

I have never had a client who requested a refund as they have been all 100% happy with the results so this is a tricky question but should this ever occur: refunds are offered if all recommendations from my report have been followed and feedback shared regularly with me so next steps/adjustments etc. can be made and you see absolutely no improvement whatsoever in your dog after min. 6 months of working together.
